Terms of Service

Welcome to Dedicto. By accessing or using the Dedicto application at dedicto.co ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Dedicto is operated by an individual developer based in Turkey. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dedicto.

1. Service Description

Dedicto is an AI-powered text analysis service designed to help users gain psychological insight into written communication. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze text and generate observations about communication patterns, subtext, and dynamics.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Dedicto if you are located in the European Union, or at least 13 years of age in all other jurisdictions. By using Dedicto, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement. Dedicto is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the minimum age.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

We require email verification before you can use analysis features. This helps protect your account and ensures service integrity.

4. AI-Generated Content

All analyses produced by Dedicto are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or misleading. You should not rely solely on Dedicto analyses to make important personal, relational, professional, or medical decisions.

Dedicto makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content. Analyses are informational tools only and should not be treated as factual, clinical, or authoritative assessments of any person.

5. User Responsibilities and Content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• •You have the right to submit such content and have obtained any necessary consents or permissions from third parties whose communications or information you are submitting.
• •Submitting third-party communications for analysis is your responsibility. Be mindful of other people's privacy.
• •The content does not violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights.
• •You understand that analysis output is AI-generated and may not be accurate.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• •Submit, transmit, or process any illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable content.
• •Abuse, exploit, or interfere with the operation of the Service, including unauthorized access attempts or denial-of-service attacks.
• •Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or any other automated means to access or interact with the Service without our written permission.
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service.
• •Use the Service to build a competing product or service, or to benchmark or compare with competing services without our consent.
• •Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

7. Subscriptions and Payment

Dedicto offers both free and paid subscription plans. Payments are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects payment on our behalf and is responsible for remitting applicable taxes. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

• •Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
• •You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• •Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
• •Dedicto reserves the right to change pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect for their account.

8. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of any text you submit and the AI-generated analyses produced from it. We do not claim ownership over your input or output.

Our platform: Dedicto and its operator retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the platform, product design, analysis framework, branding, trademarks, and underlying technology. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Dedicto name, logo, or branding for any purpose.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your account data will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our active systems. If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or the Service, or is otherwise inappropriate. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dedicto and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• •Your use of, or reliance on, any AI-generated analysis or content.
• •Any decisions made based on the Service's output.
• •Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service.
• •Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dedicto and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

Dedicto reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey. If you are a consumer in the EEA, you may also have the right to bring a dispute before the courts of your country of residence.
